Board and Advisors
At the North Carolina Arts Incubator, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment that reflects the vibrant communities we serve. Our Board and Advisors bring a wide range of perspectives, backgrounds, and expertise, ensuring that our programs and initiatives are not only innovative but also rooted in the values of equity, accessibility, and engagement.
We believe that the arts should be a platform for every voice, and we strive to create spaces where individuals from all walks of life can collaborate, create, and thrive. By actively engaging with artists, community leaders, and local organizations, we aim to strengthen the cultural fabric of our region and provide opportunities for all to connect with the transformative power of the arts.
Our Focus
In response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the North Carolina Arts Incubator is committed to building a sustainable future through the creation of a comprehensive five-year plan. This strategic roadmap focuses on stabilizing the organization by eliminating debt, diversifying funding sources, and realigning our programs and initiatives to better serve the evolving needs of Chatham County’s diverse communities.
As the face of our county continues to change, we are dedicated to ensuring that our work remains inclusive, accessible, and responsive to the dynamic cultural landscape.
With the guidance of our Board and Advisors, we are focused on strengthening our financial foundation, expanding partnerships, and ensuring that the arts continue to be a vital and transformative resource for all residents, regardless of background or circumstance.

Advisory Committee
The NC Arts Incubator’s (NCAI) board made the strategic decision to form a Special Advisory Committee for the sole purpose of developing a short-term and long-term facilities plan. This will provide an unbiased, fair and equitable point of view as we move forward on all decisions regarding our organization and assets
Siler City is at a tipping point as expansion from the 15-501 corridor, the mega-site development and the upgrading of US-421 to I-685, put our small town in the crosshair for rapid expansion in the coming decade.
The committee is composed of a cross-section of NCAI stakeholders bringing a mix of artists, community members and industry experts together. The goal is to help us align the building use to our mission, the current needs of our community and to create a plan for growth and sustainability for the future.
Stakeholders consulted include:
